Venue draping can change any space for your big day or corporate event.

Mel and Karyn’s wedding was a real highlight for us back in May. We transformed a normal function suite into a breathtaking elegant space. The main transformation was from the venue draping – it made a blank canvas, with soft, floaty finish to be able to shine uplighting on to create a romantic ambience.
Why venue draping?
Although this wedding was in a lovely hotel function suite Karyn wanted the suite to be changed with
venue draping. However, the biggest call for
venue draping comes with town and village halls (and we have some brilliant photos of these set ups we will showcase soon!)
Draping allows ugly walls or hanging pictures to be hidden. It is great to hide sections of the room like bars or partitions to create a more romantic setting for a ceremony. The whole room doesn’t need to be draped to use draping effectively, though I think you will admit that with this wedding the whole venue being covered does create the wow factor!
However, it wasn’t just the draping we did for Mel and Karyn – we created the entire look! White sculptured chair covers and a white satin sash (with added sparkle!) kept to the soft feel, and our gorgeous diamante charger plates, white dance floor with named vinyl, crystal goblets, starlight backdrop and starlight tableskirt completed the look! Our uplighting was set to a striking hot pink which meant the whole glowed for the evening reception. The whole style looked elegant in its simplicity and finishing touches.
Karyn was a great bride to deal with – fantastic vision and we are so pleased she loved the end result!
